First Corona Vaccines Arrived in Syria

Syria has received the first corona vaccines. The war-torn country received 256,800 doses on Thursday through the Covax program, which supplies poorer countries with vaccines.   New parties are expected in the coming weeks. "This delivery is a ray of hope for the people of Syria. It will help health workers continue to do life-saving work in a country that has been at war for ten years," said UNICEF. According to them, 51,580 official corona cases are known in Syria, but the actual number is much higher. More than 5 million corona vaccines have been delivered through Covax in the Middle East. In Yemen, for example, the first injections were taken on Wednesday.
