Amazon Invests In Meal Delivery Company Deliveroo

Amazon Invests in meal Delivery company Deliveroo. The American tech giant Amazon has made a major investment in deliverer Deliveroo.

 

Financial details are unknown, except that Amazon is the largest lender in the last 575 million dollars investment round.

Deliveroo says it will use the money for, among other things, international expansion and improvement of services.

The meal delivery company is also active on the Dutch market,

 where it competes with Thuisbezorgd.nl and Uber Eats, among others.

Earlier there were rumours that Amazon was planning to take over Deliveroo.

So it didn’t come that far.

Uber is also stated to have had talks about a takeover with the meal delivery company.

Reportedly, the companies could not agree on the valuation of the company.
