2 British Health Workers React Allergic to Pfizer Vaccine
In the United Kingdom, the medicines regulatory body advises people with a history of severe allergies not to be vaccinated with Pfizer-BioNTecht’s corona vaccine.
This happens after 2 health care workers with such a history have had an allergic reaction to their injection.
According to vaccinologist Pierre Van Damme, this is not surprising and should not cause any concern.
An anaphylactoid reaction: That’s what 2 health care workers in the UK got yesterday after getting vaccinated with Pfizer-BioNTech’s corona vaccine, as one of many thousands who were given it right across the Channel on Day 1.
Both have a history of severe allergies and carry an adrenaline syringe with them at all times. They received the necessary care and are now doing fine.
