Top Advisor: Trump Approves Revised Bailout Package

US President Donald Trump has approved a revised bailout package to get the United States economy through the corona crisis.

 

That stated his top economic adviser Larry Kudlow against news channel Fox. Earlier this week, Trump threatened to pull the plug on the negotiations on this.

Kudlow said it is a relatively broad package of crisis measures, but he did not want to give details.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Speaker of the House of Representatives, will be discussing the stimulus package later today, the adviser said.

Sources say the bailout package is worth $ 1.8 trillion. The question now is whether Congress will approve this plan.

Trump stated on Twitter that the negotiations are progressing. He tweeted, “Go Big!”
