More Than A Million New Coronavirus Cases Have Diagnosed in Spain

More than a million infections with the new coronavirus have been diagnosed in Spain. It is the first European country where so many infections have been counted.

 

The country has already conducted 15.5 million tests. Spain has 47 million inhabitants.

There are currently more than 1,900 patients in critical condition in hospitals as a result of the virus. According to authorities, more than 34,000 people have died of its effects so far.

On Thursday, there will be a vote in parliament on a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s left-wing government.

It is said to have handled the pandemic incorrectly or negligently and misused it to seize power. The motion has little chance according to Spanish media.
