Viacom and Comcast Launch Streaming Service in Europe

Media company ViacomCBS and cable television company Comcast Corporation jointly launch the new streaming service SkyShowtime in Europe. This service will be available in more than twenty countries from next year.

 

SkyShowtime features series and films from the TV channels and brands that the American companies already have in their portfolio.

For example, viewers can see titles from the TV channels SHOWTIME, MTV and Nickelodeon and offers from the American streaming services Paramount + and Peacock, the companies announced on Wednesday.

It is not yet known when the service will be launched in countries like Hungary, Denmark, Spain and Sweden. Details about the exact offer and the costs for a subscription will also follow.
