President Donald Trump Ends U.S. Relationship With WHO

Former Trump Campaign Director will Not Testify Before Capitol Storming Commission Investigation

President Donald Trump is going to end the U.S. relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO).

He said that in a speech to the White House on Friday about Chinese security legislation that affects the autonomy of Hong Kong.

Trump had previously suspended payments to the WHO because he believes the international organization is on the lead of China and has not been transparent about the emergence and development of the global corona crisis.

The new virus was discovered in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

The U.S. contributed over $ 450 million to the WHO budget last year, much more than Beijing. According to Trump, that money will go to other health projects in the world.

Trump said nothing about the financial sanctions he held out to China for curtailing Hong Kong’s freedoms, including in the area of trade.

Nor did he touch on the events in Minneapolis. After his speech, Trump disappeared without answering questions.
