Number of Coronavirus Deaths in France Grows by 319

The number of coronavirus deaths in France has risen to 2,314. Health authorities reported 319 new deaths on Saturday.

 

These figures only concern people who succumbed in a hospital.

As of next week, the authorities also expect to have insight into the number of deaths in centres for the elderly, which is likely to cause the total to increase sharply.

The number of coronavirus infections increased from 32,964 to 37,575.
