Austria Ends Lockdown Only for Vaccinated People

In Italy, a seventh person died on Monday from the effects of the new coronavirus. The Italian news agency ANSA reports this.

 

This is a 62-year-old man who was admitted to the hospital in Como last weekend after being tested positive for the virus.

The man comes from the municipality of Castiglione d’Adda in the Italian province of Lodi that falls under the Lombardy region. He struggled with multiple chronic diseases and was, among other things, dialyzed.

He is the second fatal victim from Castiglione d’Adda that has less than 5000 inhabitants.

The number of confirmed cases of infection in Northern Italy rose to more than 220.

Earlier on Monday, three Italians in the north of the country died of the virus. In all cases, it concerned the elderly.
