The Dutch are More Positive about their Finances and Institutions. In the past four years, the Dutch have started to think more positively about their financial circumstances and prospects. Confidence in institutions has also increased.
The Central Bureau for Statistics (CBS) reports this Wednesday. The agency regularly asks Dutch people about their well-being on various perspectives.
75 percent of the respondents surveyed in 2017 rated their financial situation as positive. That was 68 percent four years earlier.
About 50 percent of the respondents were positive about their financial future, compared to 40 percent in 2013.
Confidence in institutions, such as politics and police, increased from 31 percent to 40 percent.
