Boris Johnson Unaware That Lockdown Party was Against the Rules

On Tuesday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that he was unaware that the lockdown party in the garden of 10 Downing Street in May 2020 had been banned.

 

According to the prime minister, no one would have informed him about this. That writes the British broadcaster BBC on Tuesday afternoon.

“No one warned me that this was against the rules,” the prime minister said. “Otherwise, I would have remembered it.”

He wrote on his blog on Monday that Dominic Cummings, his former chief adviser, would have warned him. He accuses Johnson of lying to parliament.
