Iranian authorities on Wednesday executed a man found guilty of violence against some 60 women, the Mizan judicial authority said.
The man had been spreading terror in the Iranian capital, Tehran, since 2018. Riding around on his motorbike, with his face covered, he attacked 59 women and girls with an awl.
After China, Iran is the country with the most executions, according to human rights organization Amnesty International.
